This year we will run two condensed open water courses based in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

A condensed open water course is a four day training package to take you from complete beginner or perhaps you've had a try dive or two previously, to your first internationally recognised scuba diving qualification. We will develop your skills in a safe, confined and shallow water site (St Brides, SA62 3AJ), the site sits on the edge of the Maritime Conservation Zone in Pembrokshire. You'll encounter lots of sealife as you learn!

Once you've booked your course, you will be given early online access to your course materials and the first two days will be all about learning & developing your underwater skills and competence with a list of skills to learn whilst you learn the basics of buoyancy, trim & propulsion.

After these two days you'll have a day at your leisure before we pick up the course over the weekend for the open water phase, two days for you to demonstrate your competence in the skills you've learned whilst we explore this site and a new dive site in greater detail encountering many underwater species along the way, a wonderful course!

Our two course options for the 2026 season as follows:

1. Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th April inclusive with the (Friday spare day).

2. Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th August inclusive (Friday spare day).

Don't take our word for it, below one of our reviews from last year's dive season -

Whether you're looking to try for the first time, get certification or just visting the area and need a guide, this club is THE place to ask. I just completed my open water training with them and cannot praise this club highly enough. Everyone.. and I mean EVERYONE in the club is incredibly welcoming and supportive. They have a real passion to create a pathway that helps others discover the joy and beauty of life underwater, adapting to the needs of each person as required.
The teaching is clear, the instructors attentive and skilled at helping you develop and improve your skills as well as helping you overcome any nervousness. Furthermore, now I've passed my first course, the club offers loads of additional ways for me to progress and enjoy these new skills. Don't put it off for 35 years like I did! If you're curious then drop them a message and see where it leads.
