We pride ourselves in teaching our open water students in the real environment in and around the Maritime Conservation Zone (MCZ) in Pembrokeshire. You'll see a wide range of sealife whilst having heaps of fun along the way & you'll also enjoy a year's FREE dive club membership so you can continue to dive with us throughout the year!
Cost - £550
We ask for £275 deposit to cover your course materials & confined water training with the balance taken towards the end of the course.

Our next open water course will commence on Thursday 20th August with pool sessions every Thursday evening in Swansea (7-9pm) where you will learn the necessary skills required to be used when we go to open water. We have set aside six sessions for you to complete a minimum of four, so if you miss the start date we will be able to give you a dedicated instructor to ensure you are ready!
The open water phase will take place at St Brides, SA62 3AJ with a back-up option of Stackpole Quay, SA71 5LS if we experience unusual northerly winds) the site sits on the edge of the Maritime Conservation Zone (MCZ) in Pembrokshire where you'll encounter lots of sealife as you learn! We will also have the opportunity to dive Martin's Haven, SA62 3BJ on the Sunday which sits in the MCZ and offers deeper diving and the opportunity to dive with the odd seal at this time of year!

Once you've booked your course, you will be given early online access to your course materials to make a start with, you'll have coaching through this as you complete your confined water training at the pool, working through your list of underwater skills and developing your proficiency of buoyancy, trim & propulsion. We will then move to Pembrokeshire to complete the two day open water training phase. The weekend is yours, none of our Instructor team will be in a hurry to rush you through your training and leave the dive site early. We meet at 9am, conduct a site briefing before a good dive. After lunch (bring a packed lunch) we will get in for a second dive and are normally finished for the day around 3-4pm depending on your progress.​​
