Course outline

RAID has grown globally over the years with a strong global reputation, our Instructor Trainers are all Technical Divers with highly advanced skills and experience, the agency has, after all it's roots firmly in Technical Diving. Accredited alongside the other global agencies by the International Recreational Scuba Training Council (IRSTC), RAIDs courses are recognised globally and accepted as pre-requisites by all the others too. Once qualified, you'll never pay a renewal again, as long as you certify just five divers annually. If you're coming from another agency, you'll find our online platform second to none with everyone, right down to someone looking at doing their first scuba experience able to create an account, view, download & print ANY diving course, for free under the 'Free e-learning' tab. It's a great agency with those who own it, active divers themselves. It really is like a family.

The Instructor Development Program is a 7 - 8 day residential course to prepare you for the two day Instructor Examination (IE) which will be held at the end of the course.

You'll revise the theory from your Divemaster course, attend presentations, learn how to teach combining your strongest personal qualities whilst increasing your knowledge base.  As well as classroom sessions, there are two half day pool sessions included & an open water day to hone your briefings, presentations, in water skills and on site debriefs. You'll be suitably prepared to achieve a solid pass at the IE and be on the way to certifying your first student in open water, there's nothing like it!

You'll finish the course with Deep & Nitrox Instructor qualification too along with certain specialities in which you have experience & competence, on a case by case basis.
