RAID Divemaster course 

£795 - INCLUSIVE OF COURSE MATERIALS, POOL USE & AIR FILLS!

Course Outline

The RAID Divemaster course is a performance-based programme and is divided into three parts in essence:

Theory, Confined water skills & open water development.  You’ll attend pool sessions, theory sessions and open water training with live courses to gain the necessary experience to work in the industry. We are a busy school and you can expect lots of interaction at various levels.

  

Theory 

You'll have online access to your course materials and will work through, under supervision the various sections such as Management, Rescue, Physics, Physiology & Environment completing quizzes as you progress. You will complete a final theory exam on which you have to attain 80 percent.  

  

Confined Water

Whilst you are completing your theory sessions you will work with gradually with real students on their try dives or recreational dive course. You'll also conduct stamina swims, rescue scenarios & demonstrate a competency of demonstrating and evaluating skills from the open water course.

Open Water

You'll put into practice the skills you've learned in an open water environment & have exposure to working with students under close supervision in an open water setting, gaining valuable experience along the way.

Cost & duration 

Your course will depend entirely on your commitment. Typically, the average time taken with us ranges between 9 and 18 months. £795 inclusive of course materials that you'll receive at the start of the course, certification, pool fees AND air fills!!

(with exception of air fills required to complete your own dives). We take a staged payment in three parts which will no doubt help you - 

 £265 at the start of the course, £265 half way through with a £265 balance prior to qualification at the end.

Excludes 

Travel to and from the training locations and open water sites are your responsibility but there's always an opportunity to share a vehicle.

You should by now have all your own dive kit. If you are short of any dive kit, we can certainly come to some arrangement on long term rental.

What's next? 

Once you’ve passed your course and awarded the grade of RAID Divemaster you’ll be in a position to assist with the running of courses & guiding dives & conducting try dives in confined water & get paid for it when there is a requirement - Exceptionally rewarding!
