A former military diver with 15 years diving experience Karl has dived throughout the UK and all over the world both in work and recreational environments in far flung places such as the Med, Persian Gulf, Far East, South Pacific and throughout Australasia. Whilst serving, Karl came over to PADI on the experienced scuba diver programme in 1997 and worked his way up in his spare time his current grade of IDC Staff Instructor. Only two from the top grade in the PADI system, Karl can teach and certify Assistant Instructors, the first component part of the Instructor Development Course. Karl enjoys the physical challenges that diving has to offer and finds nothing more satisfying than helping that odd individual conquer their phobia. He continues to be excited at what the future will bring Bay Divers, a venture set up with Dave early in 2009 

Dave has been scuba diving for several years and thoroughly enjoys every minute, even during the winter months when diving in a wet suit! He recently completed his Assistant Instructor course and is keen to put his new skills into practice. Dave is also excited about the future of Bay Divers and the partnership formed with Karl. His friendly and accommodating personality automatically puts people at ease and he is looking forward to imparting his knowledge to students. Dave is particularly proud of what has been achieved so far with Bay Divers and the fact that we are the only dive school in the Swansea area to be granted Dive Resort status through PADI.

Amanda has been diving for several years and finds it an extremely enjoyable and relaxing pastime. She thoroughly enjoys meeting new people, particularly when they are new to Scuba Diving and are just starting out on their discovery of what the underwater world has to offer. Amanda is currently participating in the Divemaster Training Programme with Bay Divers. Her ambition is to gain more experience before progressing to become a Divemaster by the end of the summer months.

Sion has been with Bay Divers since our formation. He is making excellent progress towards his goal of becoming a competent and very capable Divemaster. A valuable team member, Sion is often seen at the very heart of the operation - assisting students, answering questions and putting newcomers at ease. He has a very relaxed and colourful character and his can do attitude reflects his enthusiasm for scuba diving.
